ADDICTION

Help for me

There are many programs and systems out there to help with your addiction. AA, NA, ALANON, Celebrate Recovery, etc. From what I understand, Teen Challenge (also serves adults) is the only one free of blasphemy and heresy. The rest have countless flaws either in their philosophy, theology, or teaching.
This is not to say that you should not attend any of those. They CAN be helpful. No doubt there have been many people who have found success in these programs, but I have found that usually, even inside these organizations and programs, the lasting successes and real victory have come in the people who have encountered and surrendered their lives to their Creator, Almighty God, in giving their lives in sacrifice and faith to Jesus.
This page will aim to walk through some passages in God's Word with both Biblical exegesis and inductive study as well as also incorporating a focus on drug, alcohol, and sex addiction. Many of those go hand-in-hand and fuel each other, so the focus will be that trifecta. Many people have tried to rid themselves of their drug addiction only to fail repeatedly because their sex addiction was fueling it the whole time. Some have tried to lay down alcohol over and over, not realizing that their drug addiction was fueling their drinking problem. They can, and usually do feed off of and fuel each other, so we will keep these in mind as we move through God's Word.
We will pray along the way. Prayer is us talking to God. I would encourage you, if you do not KNOW God truly, to go check out THE GOSPEL page, the FAITH page, and the PRAYER page. This journey to recovery and healing with God is only possible WITH Him, because of HIM, and by HIS power. So... you need to KNOW Him, BELIEVE in Him, and have a RELATIONSHIP with Him. Amen?
